Ashley holds a MA in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she wrote her thesis, Metta Meditation: An Inquiry into perceivable shifts in Interpersonal Perspective. Her knowledge and training in mindfulness focuses on the development of present moment awareness, focused attention, emotional navigation, regulation and cultivation of positive states. She began her meditation and yoga practice while working as a music teacher in New York City. Also in New York, she earned her 200-hour Yoga Teacher certificate from Yoga to the People. Here in San Diego, Ashley received MBSR training at UCSD Center for Mindfulness. Ashley’s transformative personal experience with yoga and meditation inspires her to share with others.
